Marcel Kaminstein

Marcel Kaminstein is a great supporter of International Trade, Italian and American culture, he is an Italian American born in the United States and spent half his life between Italy and the US. 

 

His father was a Doctor at Chester County Hospital and his mother from Rome and thanks to her, was exposed to the beauty and culture of Italy. Marcel is fluent in both English and Italian. He did his undergraduate studies at the American University of Rome, receiving an International Business degree in 2002.

 

In 2004, he became a Manager of the Luxury Division for Starboard Cruise Services, an LVMH company, specializing in cruise ship duty-free retail specifically producing jewelry trunk show programs for manufacturers such as Cartier and EFFY.  After creating an organization to manage brands and their logistical distribution to ships worldwide, Marcel successfully lobbied to create a customs ruling in the US to specifically address the industries challenging logistical processes.

 

In 2015, Marcel joined the American Club of Rome Board in various Board roles and even as President for 3 years and he continues to serve as a Board member.  In early 2020, Marcel founded the Italian American Trade Council (IATC), joined the Michael Bloomberg 2020 Presidential campaign, and then he ran in a July special election for PA State Rep of the 156th District (unsuccessfully). 

 

In September 2020, he launched the Pro Business PAC to support Pro Business Democratic candidates and succeeded in having all supported races win the Nov 2020 elections in PA.

Jerome P. Nachlis, CPA, CGM

Jerome is a CPA, CGMA and a business executive with almost 40 years of professional experience in a variety of industries.  He has proven business acumen in the areas of operations, finance, human resources, IT, and general management in both corporate and Nonprofit sectors. He has been a successful strategist and leader in the turnaround of fiscally and culturally challenged businesses, building cross-functional teams, and developing significant partnerships within organizations between core business functions.  His responsibilities have included finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, customer service/support, planning, logistics, shipping and procurement. He has re-engineered processes such as finance, supply chain, warehousing and facilities management.

 

He is currently President/CEO of JPN Advisory Services, LLC providing financial, operational and administrative services to clients facilitating long-term growth and sustainability. His focus on business efficiencies, effectiveness while ensuring internal controls are established is key to his process. Jerome’s consulting practice has been a source of pride for over 15 years.

 

For nearly nine years Jerome served as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, a nonprofit umbrella organization that serves the greater Philadelphia area, overseas and Israel in the areas of Social Responsibility, Jewish Education and Community Engagement. Mission-driven deliverables include supplying financial support for food insecurity, supporting the aging to remain in their homes and promoting Jewish identity and connectivity. His responsibilities included Finance, Treasury, IT, HR and Real Estate operations.

 

Prior to Jewish Federation, he worked for Cosmo Films, Inc. a manufacturer and distributor of thermal laminate films throughout the world with corporate headquarter in Delhi, India and its North American Corporate office in New Castle, Delaware.  He joined as their Controller and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer after the acquisition of General Binding Corporations division which tripled the size of the North American operations. He oversaw all the Financial, Administrative and Human Resource activities for the America’s. 

 

Before his international responsibilities with Cosmo Films, he was also an entrepreneur in the direct sale uniform business. He was the President of ImageFirst Professional Apparel, a direct sale uniform company that also supported clients with Ad Specialty products. He led this business for two years during which time he increased sales by 20% each year, reduced operating expenses by 30%, improved cash flow and increased on time deliveries by 20%. Ultimately, the company was sold as part of the controlling stakeholders exit strategy. Prior to taking the position of President of the direct sale business, Jerome was the CFO for the ImageFirst group of businesses, which were 7 individual businesses including a franchising entity. During his tenure as CFO he transitioned the senior financial role from a Controllership function to a business partner CFO/Strategist role while focused on improved profitability and increased cash flow from all operations.

 

Mr. Nachlis also worked for E.I. DuPont on the corporate accounting and reporting staff of INVISTA and for ACTIV-e Solutions (a valued added reseller technology company). Additionally, he began his corporate career Campbell Soup Company where he spent 12 years in various businesses as the senior financial and administrative executive. Finally, Jerome began his career with KPMG.

 

Mr. Nachlis has served on numerous Boards in his community including the United Way of New Jersey, Jewish Federation of Delaware, Jewish Family Services of Delaware and Toledo, Ohio, Congregation Beth Shalom and the Siegel JCC.  He is a graduate of Wilkes University and resides with his wife, Debbie, and their two sons, Joshua and Aaron, in Wilmington, Delaware.
