It's always a joyous and festive time for our children and elderly who might otherwise do without. It promotes goodwill with all that come into contact with the Caravan and more importantly, it brings together our communities through sharing and caring. PBPAC staff and volunteers take on the role of Santa's helpers traveling to neighborhood sites in South, North, West, and Northeast Philadelphia distributing gift bags. Just as Point Breeze Performing Arts Center reaches out to the community, generous businesses reach to us, donating items that we in turn distribute to members of the community. Contributors include Bed, Bath & Beyond, the United Way, Land’s End, CREW and IKEA. Through their help, we have been able to provide children with school supplies, and families with mattresses, furniture and Thanksgiving Food Baskets.
